The M-65 Field Jacket was an improvement on the M-51 field jacket. With some changes from its predecessor such as the introduction of velcro instead of buttons in the cuffs and at the collar, the M-65 also has a built in hood that's hidden in the collar. The jacket is made in windproof cotton sateen cloth and features four pockets on the front and a drawstring waist, just like the earlier versions of the field jacket. The olive drab version remained in service until the early 80s and was then replaced with a woodland pattern camouflage version.

This is a Vintage original from 1968. The condition is great considering its age. Labels are intact, zipper's working, drawstring's still there and the pockets are whole. Worth mentioning is two small holes in the lining near the neck label. All in all, a great example of this iconic jacket!

All measurements are in centimeters and measured on a flat surface. Width is measured straight across the chest from armpit to armpit, length is measured at the back of the garment from the neck down and the sleeve length is measured on the underarm from the armpit to the end of the cuff.
